My passion for glass began in 1986, when I first moved into the Lancaster area.

At that time I was exclusively involved in the cold working techniques of leaded windows and tiffany style lamps.
Examples of my work are scattered throughout North Lancashire, Cumbria and North Yorkshire .

During the last year I became intrigued by the endless possibilities and the sheer beauty of kiln formed glass.
An art which is millennia old has entered the 21 st century with new techniques and materials.

I now work exclusively with the kiln.

At such fiery temperatures the glasses gather and flow, I just try to influence them in my own way.
The results are often surprising, often fabulous. There are never enough hours in the day, days in the week to convert all of my ideas into frozen, dazzling liquid but I keep trying.

I am never bored

I have a small studio and work shop in my home, where anyone is free to come and browse or buy my designs,
I am also prepared to take on commissions to your own design, and I can also accommodate students who would like to learn the various techniques involved in warm glass art.
